Olympia Capital International, Inc. - Bermuda
Mr. Lewnowski has been engaged in the U.S. and international fund business for over 30 years. He is founder, Chairman and controlling shareholder of Olympia Capital International Inc., (OCII) which, in conjunction with its partner companies, administers investment companies worldwide. In addition, he is chairman and co-founder of Winchester Global Trust Company. He began his career in Vienna, Austria working as a treasury officer and investment counselor. In 1962, he became partner of a New York-based brokerage firm, AT Brod & Co., where he worked until 1968. Mr. Lewnowski worked as a senior operating officer of Drexel Burnham Lambert from 1968 to 1990. Mr. Lewnowski has a doctorate degree from the Hochschule fuer Welthandel (University of Business Administration) in Vienna, Austria. He became a General Securities Registered Representative in 1962, and General Securities Principal. Mr. Lewnowski also holds a futures license (Principal of an NFA member firm).
Mr. Morrison is President of Olympia Capital (Bermuda) Limited and Executive Vice President of Olympia Capital (Cayman) Limited, and Chief Operating Officer of Olympia Capital International Inc. As global COO, Mr. Morrison oversees all aspects of the operations for OCII locations, including Bermuda, Toronto, Halifax, and Dublin. Mr. Morrison has responsibility for corporate planning worldwide. He was responsible for devising and executing the recent expansions in Bermuda and Toronto as well as opening and staffing the office in Halifax. Mr. Morrison has been instrumental in developing enhancements to the systems in use at Olympia Capital. Accountants trained under his leadership have been placed in management positions in other Olympia offices in Toronto and Halifax. Mr. Morrison is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst. He studied at Glasgow College of Technology and earned a Scottish Higher National Diploma in Accounting. Since July 1993 he has been an officer of OCII and its affiliated group companies, as well as various other international investment companies. Prior to joining OCII, he was a senior accountant at Ernst & Young in Hamilton, Bermuda.
Mr. Donald joined Olympia Capital (Bermuda) Limited in September 2005 as Executive Vice President. Mr. Donald works closely with the President to oversee the running of the accounting group in Olympia Capital's Bermuda office as well as being the primary relationship contact for certain clients. Mr. Donald is also responsible for standardization and documentation of internal controls and procedures, as well as various other special projects for both the Bermuda and overseas offices. Mr. Donald works closely with our new clients and our Investor Relations and Legal staff to ensure all new funds are integrated into Olympia Capital quickly and efficiently. Previously, Mr. Donald was a Senior Manager at KPMG Bermuda where he provided audit and assurance services to investment companies for seven years. Mr. Donald is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor.
Ms. Murray Brown, in her capacity as General Counsel, is in charge of reviewing offering documents and contracts for the funds we administer, as well as myriad legal documentation encountered in the course of business. She works closely with clients, their counsel and internal Olympia staff prior to a fund launch to perfect fund documentation in order to provide a clear blueprint for future operations. In an ongoing basis, Ms. Murray Brown acts as a resource to fund clients on internal and external legal matters. She also represents Olympia's legal position in matters that arise with clients. Ms. Murray Brown acts as Chief Compliance Officer for the OC entities, which includes overseeing the AML/KYC and Patriot Act procedures employed worldwide and the training of staff in the proper execution of these regulations. She has a staff of lawyers and paralegals to assist her in the document review, and adherence to legal and compliance related mandates. A member of the California Bar since 1988, Ms. Murray Brown received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan and her Juris Doctor, with honors, from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California. Ms. Murray Brown has practiced law with the law firms of Carlburg, Cook and Johnson, and Wilson and Becks in Los Angeles. She also served as a corporate consultant in matters of US law with the law firm of Milligan-Whyte & Smith in Bermuda. Prior to joining Olympia Capital (Bermuda) Limited as General Counsel, she was Assistant General Counsel for Flag Limited, a global telecommunications company based in Hamilton, Bermuda.
In 2002 Ms. Hiron joined Olympia Capital (Bermuda) as Corporate Counsel. In this capacity she assists Ms. Murray-Brown in reviewing offering documents and contracts for the funds Olympia Capital administers, with a particular emphasis on Bermuda-domiciled funds. Ms. Hiron was called to the Alberta Bar in July 1990 and the Bermuda Bar in September 2001. Ms. Hiron received her Bachelor of Commerce and her Bachelor of Law Degrees, both with honors, from the University of Alberta, Canada in April 1989. Ms. Hiron articles and then practiced law for several years with the law firm of Brownlee Fryett of Edmonton, Alberta and then became a partner in the law firm of Hiron Hicks of Sherwood Park, Alberta. In 1998 Ms. Hiron joined the law firm of Marshall Diel & Myers (then Marshall & Company) in Bermuda, Ms. Hiron is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Bermuda Bar Association. Ms. Lewnowski is Senior Vice President and Principal of Olympia Capital Associates, L.P. ("OCA") and President of OCA's General Partner. As President and a board member of OCA's parent company, Brooke Securities Holdings, Inc. ("BSHI"), Ms. Lewnowski is responsible for running OCA. Ms. Lewnowski is also director of business development. On the business development side, she is responsible for identifying new business prospects, introducing them to the firm and its services. On an ongoing basis, Ms. Lewnowski is also responsible for press communications, advertising promotions, and general public relations for the firm. Prior to joining Olympia in 1993, Ms. Lewnowski worked as a credit analyst and market strategist at Yasuda Trust & Banking Limited, one of the largest banking institutions worldwide. Prior thereto, she worked as a corporate finance associate specializing in international transactions at Dresdner Bank's corporate finance affiliate in New York. Ms. Lewnowski has a joint degree in Business Administration and German Studies from Georgetown University. In 1996 she received a General Securities Registered Representative designation and a Uniform Securities Agent State Law designation from the NASD (National Association of Securities Dealers). Ms. Lewnowski was a founding board member of a charity benefiting abused children, Hedge Funds Care, and is Chairman of its Grant Compliance Committee.
Mr. Leone is Chief Operating Officer and Principal of OCA and BSHI. Mr. Leone manages (i) the client service teams (fund accounting, investor services, fund of funds, and cash operations); and (ii) the corporate teams supporting operations, including IT and corporate finance. Mr. Leone has nearly 30 years of accounting, operations and technology experience with over 20 years in the asset management industry (including hedge funds, mutual funds and structured finance deals such as Collateralized Mortgage Obligations and other securitizations). He has held various senior executive positions. Prior to joining OCA, Mr. Leone was a Vice President and Senior Administrative Officer of The Bank of New York's Alternative Investment Services group. Mr. Leone worked directly for the managing director of operations. He was a member of the Senior Hedge Fund Management Committee, chaired the Systems Project Committee, and managed or had oversight and planning responsibilities for various departments. Mr. Leone was also in charge of executing policies and internal controls, coordinating the group's first SAS 70, and served as the lead contact with internal audit, compliance and risk management departments. Prior thereto, Mr. Leone held various other senior executive positions including Chief Financial Officer of a former well-known asset management firm and its related broker/dealer (Zweig/Glaser Advisers and Zweig Securities Corp). Mr. Leone was also an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand LLP (now PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP). Mr. Leone is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York. He obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting, with a minor in Economics, from C.W. Post Center of Long Island University. |
